|The only soda where I enjoy both diet and regular.|
This picture could mean a few things. One, maybe I had a long week. Two, maybe I am in the thick of a stressful quarter-life crisis. Three, maybe I have a Dr. Pepper problem. Maybe it's all of those.
The school year is over!! It's my first day of freedom! The day before school ended, I had everything ready to go. My room was clean and arranged just right so that the fire sprinkler work the district had planned could get done without disruption. I was feeling good. In fact, I even bragged to my assistant principal that the whole process was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Then, not even seconds later, I found out from the school custodian that they had made a mistake. I was getting a whole new ceiling in my classroom and everything that I had stuffed into my closet had to be emptied. Years and years of junk. I died. Weeks ago, I had voiced concerns over the ceiling type I had, when we found out that the wood and metal shops had to be completely emptied and the drywall ceilings replaced. Basically, my ceiling was drywall with tiles glued to it, but for some reason, no one knew that until the day before school ended, EVEN THOUGH I ASKED ABOUT IT A MILLION TIMES. So, for the second time this year, I have had the experience of moving all my stuff RIGHT NOW. At least it wasn't my house again...
As I type, there is an old Asian man taking pictures of my house and all the houses around the neighborhood. I don't know if it's weirder that I am staring at him through the window, or that he is taking a picture of me staring at him through the window. I just looked back at my screen, and even though it only took a few seconds, he and his car have completely vanished. I think it will be a little hilarious when he uploads his pictures and realizes that his creepiness has been matched by my epic photobomb.
Of all the strange things that have happened outside my house (mostly dog-related, like, someone letting their dog poop IN MY DRIVEWAY AND NOT PICKING IT UP), this one just might win.
Now that I actually have time, maybe I will be able to hem my curtains and do all of the other random things that need to get done so my house is picture perfect. I know, I moved and then dropped off the face of the earth. I at least owe my 3 readers some pictures.
